The heat generated by the electronic controller of inverter air conditioner outdoor units is a key factor affecting its reliability. In order to find a better electronic controller heat dissipation solution, the principle analysis of the air-cooled heat dissipation scheme is conducted, the key influencing factor—the temperature difference between the fluid and the radiator is found, and the air temperature of each part of the outdoor unit is compared and tested. The results show that the direct use of low-temperature air outside the fuselage for heat dissipation can achieve better heat dissipation effect. A new air-cooled scheme is designed in this paper. Combining numerical simulation and experimental testing, using ANSYS software for modeling and simulation comparison, the experimental testing is conducted. The results show that under 55 ℃ operating condition, the new solution can achieve a temperature reduction of 3.3-7.1 ℃ compared to the original heat dissipation scheme.
